Event Description

The Mystic Groovies and the Love Cowboys will both reunite after 20 years individually and collectively on November 6th 2009 in Oxford, Ohio. Sadly, a great and venerable venue in Oxford, Ozzie's Balcony is closing it's doors, so in order to give it a proper send off, the Love Cowboys are reuniting and have invited the Mystic Groovies to join them for what the band's have traditionally always called a "Shake N Bake". Members of the bands are coming from Seattle, Minneapolis, & New Orleans in order to participate.

Folks coming from out of town should be aware that the initial response has been overwhelming and to get there extra early (that afternoon) if you want to get in. The club holds 300-400 people.

The Groovies will also play the next night at the Melody Inn in Indianapolis for an early bird special gig that starts at 7:00pm. These will be the only two nights the bands will be playing, so please come and join us for some not-so-serious psychedelic grins.

PJ- I thought of that too! I could use a new Ping hat. We aren't too far down the road of the NP thing to turn back. But John is right, if we can find a way to funnel money to artists then I'm all about having MFT make some of that transaction. It…

I tried to watch 100 Ways but I could feel my life force draining. Haven't the Japanese made some horror films about this video?
