Hey, I've got an album I've just finished recording in garageband and I'm looking for someone to mix and master it for fairly cheap (I really can't spend over eighty bucks or so). I can send you the garageband files so you can mix the levels of each of my tracks. I would do this myself but I really don't have anything but laptop speakers and headphones to listen on, so I feel like no matter what I'm getting a skewed perspective.

Thanks,
Russ

Russ- for $80 that might be hard to get done. I'd love to do it myself but I have a huge backlog of stuff to mix already! I'll let you know if I hear of anyone interested in doing that.

Right, I'm not looking for a professional job, this album's going to be sold in a limited release handmade cd-r version and as a free mp3 download, so it's not a huge deal, there are just little nitpicky things that bother me. I was more looking for someone who could do it at home and was willing to take it on as a favor of sorts.

How many songs? and can you send .wav files? Is it acoustic drums or are the drums already a stereo mix?

Nevermind, I found somebody to do it. Thanks!

This is Mars Needs Women's, first band name. We got our flyers torn down Kirkwood by some Jaycee guy I remember, wearing his little red vest.

I'm all for MFT and the artists both making some money whether it's NP or not. I'm glad there is another way of getting us out there. If I would have sold an album in the 80s, I remember most little labels and artists would be happy to sell their t…

PJ- I thought of that too! I could use a new Ping hat. We aren't too far down the road of the NP thing to turn back. But John is right, if we can find a way to funnel money to artists then I'm all about having MFT make some of that transaction. It…

I tried to watch 100 Ways but I could feel my life force draining. Haven't the Japanese made some horror films about this video?
