Hi, Belinda - didn't go to central, but knew folks that did. Cheryl Damron, Doug Peterman, Richard Newman, Jon Hewlett.

Hey I saw the Big Employees at the Ross! (I went to school with Richard N.) I had forgotten all about his band! I won an informal dance contest at the Ross dancing to the Big Employees. They gave me a beer and I was underage. :) Thanks for the memories, Shari. Btw, your name is familiar. did you go to Central?

I believe the 3 piece was The Big Employees, headed up by Richard Newman.

@Shari I remember seeing Stop the Car at the Ross. I also remember a great little 3 piece... Mr. Big or something like that. they had a song I can still remember "Going Downtown, Baby...I'm going Downtown. I still have a 45 of theirs in a box somewhere.

Yeah Im from Evansville and well I still live there and still play in loud original bands. This town is still boring. Still close minded, but now rent isn't as cheap.

Hi, I'm from Evansville, graduated from E'ville Central in '84. Still go back twice a year to visit the folks.

Evansville is where my mom lives now. I used to go to concerts every other weekend from Evansvillle to Louisville to Indianapolis.

Oh, E'ville...(sigh). It's been a damn long time.

Yay Evansville (or, E-ville, as I like to call it)! I was born there, raised in Mt. Vernon (IN), spent my college (and a number of additional) years in Bloomington, and now reside in St. Louis.

Evansville's homes along the river are gorgeous and the old courthouse and post office are true beauties! I spent many weekend nights dancing away at the Victory when it was an under-21 club. Funny, my parents spent many years there earlier when it was a theatre and now attend the Philharmonic concerts there. That's recycling at its finest!

This is Mars Needs Women's, first band name. We got our flyers torn down Kirkwood by some Jaycee guy I remember, wearing his little red vest.

I'm all for MFT and the artists both making some money whether it's NP or not. I'm glad there is another way of getting us out there. If I would have sold an album in the 80s, I remember most little labels and artists would be happy to sell their t…

PJ- I thought of that too! I could use a new Ping hat. We aren't too far down the road of the NP thing to turn back. But John is right, if we can find a way to funnel money to artists then I'm all about having MFT make some of that transaction. It…

I tried to watch 100 Ways but I could feel my life force draining. Haven't the Japanese made some horror films about this video?
