To be a member of the JRFA you are not required to be Jewish, although, I'm sure you have been at one time or another a fan of "Jewish" rock music. Whether you currently profess the faith is kinda irrelevant for this group.

(Interestingly, I recently found out that three different people I play with thought I was Jewish. Not possible to have a much more Irish name than, Byrne, but whaddya expect here in the cradle of enlightenment...)

yes, sad but true, it is not a parody, there are actually good Christian rock bands here and there.
