"Welcome to 1984!" New Year's Eve party. Yeah, Mike, here's Dan again --- passed out at this point. The mysterious man with the moustache is my Bloomington High School South Class of '82 classmate and friend, David Shapiro, was a 19-year-old sophomore at the University of Colorado, Boulder when I took this photo. Dave and I have been friends for the past 33 years --- ever since we were in the 6th grade at Binford Middle School in Bloomington. Dave and I did a "Psychedelic Showcase" featuring acid rock and psychedelic pop from the Sixties to the Eighties on cable radio FM 100.3 WQAX in December 1983 when WQAX was a community radio station in downtown Bloomington on the south side of the square.
