love to hear your rig sometime what kind of amp do you have?

I don't know that it does. It sounds fine in the context of the band. I don't buy all the true-bypass hype and employ many buffered pedals. This was for the one take attempt. Plenty of overdubs with just the essential pieces.

How can the tone of your amplifier survive this?

I'd also like to point out that two of these pedals (the plain metal ones) are from Indiana's own RonSound. The larger one is a clone of an original triangle Big Muff that Ron apparently loaned out for use on Super-Elastic by Velo-Deluxe.

The Hotcake sounds brilliant with an AC30. I pretty much leave it on all the time.

You have a hot cake! I love those! I also like that I seem to have triggered a trend here.

Hey John, since you are the only person I know who would know: Are the models that drive satellite radio producing any revenue for the artist? You don't mention satellite services but to me, not having one, it seems to be a logical evolution to bet…

I predict that labels may not go away, but they will become less important--as will traditional broadcast radio. Ten years from now we will all have internet-based radio in our cars. And the taste-maker-gate-keepers may not all be labels. They might…

I think it's significant that iTunes acquired LaLa, a streaming site (which I use to preview or rather pre-listen to new releases). With the likely release of Spotify in the U.S., and the fact that Rhapsody already has a subcription streaming servic…

John- do you think there will be one master archive of all music in various formats (Wav, MP3, etc)? I think you are right on with your predictions but I wonder about the logistics. Will it be like the current distro model where you can get these r…

Thanks, man. I'm not second-guessing whether SubPop was ever actually part of the major system - it seems like they did some sort of P&D deal around the time Mammoth and Matador did, but I don't recall for sure. Anyway they are an indie currently an…
