As the week soon rolled by,things became a tighter squeeze in Simon`s tight bedsit room as he was putting up the Australians again. To relieve some space,we all headed down to Hampton Court which is a Stately Home on Simon`s doorstep with plenty of park land to goof around & play football (Soccer). As we moved into & through 1987,me & Karl`s friendship grew with Simon. The Birmingham Punk scene was moving almost as much as London`s,although we only had one real good venue called the "Mermaid Pub" which was in the Sparkhill side of town. This venue to this day is still the coolest Birmingham has ever had for Punk shows until it got damaged by fire in the early 90`s......

I had reached a period in my life where i needed something different in my life. The 80`s was a VERY violent period of time in British social behaviour. English Soccer games had a major hooligan problem & it was just about showing up everywhere else also. It was a period where you just did not go to a Punk show without seeing at least one fight break out ! Hey,i`m about to make history now & do my first ever blog posting....EVER !!!!. Anyway after a VERY long shift through my record collection ive finally come up with my very own "Desert Island Disks". Oh "Desert Island Disks" was/is a BBC Radio 4 show where various known people would talk about records they would be happy to be stuck on a deserted island with.
