I live in my hometown of Wabash. Its east of Lafayette on Hiway 24. I stopped playing for 20 years as I worked 2nd and 3rd shift in Factories. I recently took early retirement from Chrysler at Kokomo. I sold the Acoustic 360 after Flint Broke up, then John Baker came got me to play with Ed Eastwood and Hank Westerman in Low Spark and Bandanna. I then got a Ampeg with a Backward baffle 15". It was the best I had to that time. I now have a rack setup with A ampeg SVT3 Pro and tuner, Wireless setup and SWR Goliath with 4-12s and A SWR 15 cabinet .Great sound but wish i'd stayed with Ampeg Speakers. I got smart like you and Bought a Fender Precision when I played with LS and Bandanna. Great instrument.
Greg, I'm an old friend of Tim Flanagan's from the Flint daze in Lafayette and am trying to track Tim down. I saw in your comment on John Baker's page that you ran into him and his brother in Missouri. Any tips on how I might contact Tim or his brother? Thanks!
Far out, Greg! Sorry no mention of you or Les, but I didn't go back that far with names, but I sure remember the great Flint days ..... which may have been my favorite of the bands I played in back then 'cause it was so acidic and electric. And Tim and Dale played off each other so well on guitar.
I see you are still in Lafayette. I moved to California, and am now in Washington state. Just started playing some solo acoustic stuff around the area for fun.
I discovered music via my parents collection, as many kids do. First up were Elvis and The Beatles. I played these records to death. "Lucy In
The Sky With Diamonds" was the most amazing thing my 7 year old mind
could imagine- I couldn't understand…

This group, named for its spiritual founders is to discuss the ephemera of Hoosier folklore. The entire historical, musical, cultural, and folkloric expanse of the Hoosier state is our stomping ground here.
I like the Zine idea- online or print. Obviously there are serious hurdles to the print version. My focus right now, with changes to the site, are mostly focused on things we can do, programming/design wise, that will enable bands and members to spr…
Online zine that turns into a publicated zine.. With a link to the mix-tape of the month. There is so much music on here, it has to be somehow highlighted.
