Went to Purdue in 87 to 97-ish for undergrad and PhD. Played in the below bands. Lived at a bunch of local addresses and hung out with many amazing folks. Some of the addresses of interest acted as venues: 120 Wiggins (the Loach Motel; no longer standing) and 460 Vine (where someone actually shat on our empty keg).

Howdy, howdy, howdy,

I posted some tunes. Here's why:

The first two are Uncle Bob. I have earlier stuff... the earliest being Kev and I recording at Cary Quad on the WCCR 4-track as well as the Whisker Buiscut stuff from 88 recorded in Highland on the said 4-track... but other than live Teeth from 87-88 (hello Muncie, IN!), nothing that rung out... all the other Teeth recording were pre John and I (when Mass and Flav were shredding).

i did digitize it.

unfortunately, something about the capture really freaks out the raw->mpeg encoder when i tried crunching it down. so anytime there's a bright frame in the video (and there are lots), the audio encoding craps out for a few seconds. which makes the end result annoyingly seizure-inducing.

I'm digitizing my copy of Dog Opera now. Lots of VHs-y defects, but i suspect they are in the original for the most part.

You know, I wish I wasn't such a cynic back then. By the looks of it, you guys had a helluvalot of fun making this thing.
