Soft Machine on Dutch television program Hopela from 1967 featuring a very lovely Kevin Ayers looking like Nina Hagen as well as a lengthy shot of a pair of breast s (in case you never have seen a pair). It cracks me up that anyone is concerned abou…
This blog is full of really cool, mostly out of print stuff all ripped and posted as MP3 downloads for your digital convenience

Roxanne Newman did vocals on the Psychic Dance Hall Vertical Slit CD -- their first CD although Jim was releasing cassettes in the 70s and 80s as Iron Press. It was on Roperburn out of South Bend. I don't think there is a version of Bristol Girl on t…
Um, I guess this isn't really avant garde, and I told myself that I would no longer embed you tube videos in this site, but for me, the only music scene that really mattered in the 80s and 90s was Ohio. Even before that I was buying Pere Ubu singles…
This is probably only amusing to Bill and me, but Windows catagorizes the Latent Chaos MP3s I have on the laptop as "folk revival" in that way it assigns a genre to your files. That's us all righty.
Wow! I got your message about the Safety Pups. That is awesome. My email is dereklotek@yahoo.com
Could you hit me up there and we can work out the snail mail details?
I know it seems silly, but I can't believe after 19 years I will be able to hear them again! I have been bummed about having them stolen for that long. :(
Primates did go in the studio. We did one session with the Ricky, Rapper, Lumpy, Dave Yukki line-up.
I don't have a copy of that, but I remember being a little disappointed with the outcome (personally). I was pretty studio-green, and didn't play very well, or adjust my drums properly.
I do have a copy of one of our No Bar shows that's pretty fuckin' sweet.
Hey: I am a huge fan of the Fall as well, especially the time period you mentioned over on John's cassette blog. If someone told me I could only listen to one band for th rest of my life, I would have to choose the Fall. They are the band that keeps on giving.
Have you heard the live in Reykjavik set from 1983? Brilliant.
Also, Mark E. Smith's biography is seriously entertaining. Unfortunately, at least for now, it's UK only and a bit on the pricey side. Still worth it though.

Jeff, thanks for the Grit, I am just now listening to the stuff from '89. Very, dare I say Trower-esque, or is that Travers-esque. I am digitizing it this weekend and will send the studio stuff asap.
We all know you have some cool stuff. I would love to have a copy of the React to art "Grit". I believe Vending and the Math Bats played that particular React show. I have completed the studio collection and it is at 4 discs. I would gladly do a trade. Hope you are well !
I'm all for MFT and the artists both making some money whether it's NP or not. I'm glad there is another way of getting us out there.
If I would have sold an album in the 80s, I remember most little labels and artists would be happy to sell their t…
PJ- I thought of that too! I could use a new Ping hat.
We aren't too far down the road of the NP thing to turn back. But John is right, if we can find a way to funnel money to artists then I'm all about having MFT make some of that transaction. It…
