About Me
I was born and raised in Bloomington, IN, on a farm property on Baby Creek road, near the east side. I was given my 1st guitar at the age of 9 years old. I started out learning Jimi Hendrix, Stones, Beatles, Muddy Waters Blues, Johnny Cash and later was facinated with Surf sounds of Likes of the Ventures, Dick Dale, Booker T, etc...By my teenage years I got into Skating and was drawn to the creative and fresh sounds of Underground, Hardcore and Punk rock alike, bands like Decendents, Fang, Cramps, Circle Jerks, Subhumans, DK and many more caught my attention, So many friends and I started the infamous Peace Dykes (Teen age Punk Band) We played original material and kept it raw and real! Great times with Joe Z, Mark, Zac Burke, Johnny Mackay(RIP) and Thomas Matthews. These are some of the best times in my life, the freedom of who we were and what we did in Bloomington during the 1980s. I now have a Wife of 18 years and 3 children, who travel with me all over the US with my now long time Job with the US Coast Guard. Sailing the Seas has taken me from our Great Lakes, Rivers, the east and west coasts, and 1 year in the Persian Gulf. These days my children seem to be a chip off the ol Block, not affraid to express themselves and are very artistic and musically inclined. We currently live in Lake Tahoe, and Snow board, skate board and are involved in the music seen from Blues to Surf type rock, which would have been considered punk 25 years ago, funny how that works. These days I have been writing a ton of songs that could be classified many different ways and I'm content with that. I'm glad to see such a great network of our scene all doing so well and keeping memories alive of all of us still here and those who are gone. Josh

Josh,
Glad we're finally friends after all these years...ha, ha. It's great that you're still playing the guitar! My son, Hassan, plays guitar. He's good, too. Too bad the two of you can't get together and jam. If I remember, I'll post some photos of him playing.

Peace,
Terry

"Live fast, die young and leave a beautiful corpse"

Yeah seems like only yesterday I was 20, I think I've only aged 5 years mentally since then ha ha.

I guess New London is better than Old London.

Ha that's funny a Peace Dykes set list, I'll keep an eye out.

It's been a long strange trip to forty that's for sure.

Hope all is well with you, hmmm 40's not too far away for you either old man Ha.
