There was also Mockingbird Hill Park in Anderson Indiana, which was a regular stop on the live Country Music circuit. That was a bit off the main road and back off into a small wooded area that was only a couple of blocks from where Dave Jr. grew up…

When I was a kid growing up in Anderson, Indiana, every once in a while we would hear live music being played in the neighborhood and wander around until we tracked down where it was coming from. Many times I'd lean against a wall and watch some of…

"Who the hell is Mute Math?" Jeb. Come on. If they were from Indiana people here would be drooling all over their ass. I'm not exactly "in the loop", as far as contemporary indie rock goes, but even I know who this band are? Is?. They're not that g…

You had me until the NO bashing. You can make your points well without stooping to the same tactic some of them are utilizing. Take the high-road. New Orleans is still my favorite city in America to visit (true, I don't want to live there). Indy ma…

I've been listening WAY too much to Fresh And Only's, a San Francisco (for lack of a better term) garage/psych band, and they're touring with the also great, also from San Fran, Oh Sees.

Okay, update:
Fresh & Onlys and Oh Sees played here last night and Fresh & Onlys were totally mind blowingly good. Like transcendent.
It nice to have my faith renewed in contemporary rock bands every once in a while, especiall… Continue

Reviewed, it seemed
As if someone were watching over it
Before it was
As if response were based on fact

Providing, deciding, it was soon there
Squared to it, faced to it, it was not there

Renewed, it fought
As if it had a cause to live for
Denied, it learned
As if it had sooner been destroyed

Providing, deciding, it was soon there
Squared to it, faced to it, it was not there

Reviewed, it fought
As if someone were watching over it
Before it had sooner been denied
Renewed, it seemed
As if it had a cause to live for
Destroyed, it was later based on fact

interesting. Now if you could actually hit a button and somewhere a large jukebox would find the album, put it on the turntable and stream it, that would be something!
