Inspired by the kitchen sink, this spicy little thing contains several piano compositions, a few rock songs with vocals, harmonization with the sewer sucker, some fun soundtrack ideas, a really long atmospheric piece about ascending into heaven (made from Easter Sunday iPhone recor… Continue

Suite:Kids

On April 28, 2010, Holly and I decided to take part in Big Car Gallery's Thrift store music project. The challenge was to create and perform ten minutes of music from whatever we could find at a designated thrift store for $25. We had 72 hours to shop for instruments, modify them, write the songs and perform them in front of an audience at the Central Library in Indianapolis. We invited Dark Matter

A new album: BLISS

This instrumental body of work is about finding peace in the storm and watching the sun rise on a new day. It also addresses the timeless truth of our need for constant creation (art, music, gardening, children), filtered through the prism of life's events. Some fun experimenting and downright silliness took place during these sessions, while a constant longing for level water saturates the album as a whole. We are all editors of our own lives. Gregg Kendall and Chad Wells helped me out on… Continue

New Lines of Nazca Christmas EP - Throw Up The Sash!

The boys of winter return for a heartwarming jaunt through the festive country. Beginning with a personal message from the band to all it's loyal fan club members, this collection sparkles with new soon-to-be-classics and old gems, dusted off and distorted. Maybe not for kids, but for kids at heart.

About Me
I make compositions using any instrument I can get my hands on, samples and found sounds. I love creating film scores, bits of interesting noises, sound collages, techno, pop, punk, jazz, rock, classical and folk music, etc.

I have also produced many bands & artists over my career as a musician. I currently operate a recording studio out of the Stutz Building in downtown Indy.

Fact is, I just love sounds. Even if they’re not organized, or actual songs, or even pleasant. I like the contrast of textures, the impact of dynamics, the sweetness of melody and the vibrational math of harmonies. I like to break sounds down and reconstruct them into something new.

And you, darlin. My bf is not the sentimental type, and doesn't see why this fucks with me so hard - but it does, and tomorrow's hugfest (a more appropriate word considering this is LP we're talking about, yes?) will be oh SO comforting.

I'd love to, but, I have young 'uns to feed and shelter. And this contract won't be done for another week at least. I'll be there in spirit.

I'm all for MFT and the artists both making some money whether it's NP or not. I'm glad there is another way of getting us out there. If I would have sold an album in the 80s, I remember most little labels and artists would be happy to sell their t…

PJ- I thought of that too! I could use a new Ping hat. We aren't too far down the road of the NP thing to turn back. But John is right, if we can find a way to funnel money to artists then I'm all about having MFT make some of that transaction. It…

I tried to watch 100 Ways but I could feel my life force draining. Haven't the Japanese made some horror films about this video?
