I attended the March 11 show in IU. It was quite an event. Elvis and the Attractions blasted through what was supposed to be a 90 minute set in 70 minutes. I've recently read an interview with Mr. Declan McManus who stated that they were so coked up…

I remember that Earth Day 82 well. The EeeE, from Detroit, stole the show, at least from my point of view. Weren't the Zero Boys meant to be there as well, but had some car trouble or some complications?

Man, I'd love to hear whatever you can get from the tapes made that day... Let me know if you ever get it worked out.... Oh, did you really mean to say it was recorded at 1.5 ips? Or was it 7.5 ips? I remember them playing "Reagan Is A Fascist." Was there tape left to catch it?

I CARE, IAN!

Speaking of which, been to the old Icarian colony... and their cemetery at New Harmony, Indiana. No tomb stones. Eerie. Just ghosts in a field surrounded by a wall... and the tombstones of the 'none' Icarian 19th century villaers in the street outside the wall.

Hi Bob. I would love to hear the demo tape by The EEEE remember that? It had a song called Reagan Is A Fascist. I tried googling them once but probably misspelled it. What is on the Earthday tape?

Greetings. Back from a sailing voyage to Mexico. Montezuma is exacting his revenge on my White Boy gastrointestinal system. I'll go an take a look at the Icarian posts and, like Arhnhold, I'll be back.

It strikes me as more than a little bizarre that it's Music and Art programs which are getting the axe. We debate over standardized testing; we argue about "teaching for the test", etc....but there's one essential truth that has been proven time and…
