I'm alive(believe it !), I spotted the Burd man on FB and bugged him. I see a one Mike Whybarkian feller here to. Memories or something close of film negative cleaner, laughing uncontrolled in a park feeling rather numb. Good thing we stopped. You h…

About Me
Insane in the membrane, seeker of life threatening situations, did the mosh pit not long ago(still fun too even after almost 30 years), out in the land that started a large punk Scene, yet ironically I am far removed from it today. I still play bass and found groove. Music has been a life changing and therapeutic part of my life. It has saved me from the abyss. I like all genres. I still love the Zero Boys
What city are you from?
Bloomington

I think it's significant that iTunes acquired LaLa, a streaming site (which I use to preview or rather pre-listen to new releases). With the likely release of Spotify in the U.S., and the fact that Rhapsody already has a subcription streaming servic…

John- do you think there will be one master archive of all music in various formats (Wav, MP3, etc)? I think you are right on with your predictions but I wonder about the logistics. Will it be like the current distro model where you can get these r…

Thanks, man. I'm not second-guessing whether SubPop was ever actually part of the major system - it seems like they did some sort of P&D deal around the time Mammoth and Matador did, but I don't recall for sure. Anyway they are an indie currently an…
