volunteer help needed at a rock show

via Brian and another Ning site:

A message to all members of RockitBomb

Hey everyone! I am looking for volunteers to help document Thin Fevers' "New Systems" release show this Friday night at Big Car. We need help running a couple of easy to use video cameras and could also use some still photos of the show. Photos can just be posted to your profile.

Please send an email to brian@rockitbomb.com if you want to volunteer.

it's not that interesting...

It's actually pretty typical... and actually, I probably should've worded that differently.. like.. "how I fucked everything up"

yes I was.

but it was so short that it's not really worth mentioning. Around the same time, I also had short stints in The Vacant Lot, Sugartime (with Norman Westburg of The Swans) and this band called Fur.

If I ever get to part 5 or 6 of my blog, I'll probably mention this time of my life.. How Pig Pen got signed, so I stopped playing with other bands.. and then how it all got fucked up.

Oh, and the records from my parent's collection that really launched me? Their collection of "original Broadway cast" musicals made me think about telling stories through music; Allan Sherman's "My Son the Nut" taught me that music can be both serio…

I need to write a blog totally marginalizing vinyl. I'll get to work on that ;) Seriously, good piece. I need to find my way back to vinyl - I need to convince my wife to let me set up the turntable in the living room again.
