IPAD - Seriously Apple? The Mother of all Slates or Just Another Monthly Visitor?

People of Earth -

Just getting in from a little R&R (HUGE shout out to my boss Jeb on making that happen!) and of course anxious to get the lowdown on apples UNBELIEVABLY mysterious new product, which up until about 25 minutes ago I believed was actually going to the one piece of technology that I have been praying daily for since 1989...a hoverboard.

No hoverboard announcements this week dudes, only announcements about a product that 20 years from now VH1's "I love… Continue

What do you think? Is he doing well? What did you think of the State Of The Union?

Review (w/ Photos) - MOKB / LM Local Music Git Down

What an event. My Old Kentucky Blog and it's sister site, Laundro Matinee, had a vision: bring every local music organization under one roof to promote one event...and make that event absolutely epic.

14 bands, 6 DJ's, 25 organizations over the course of 14 hours. Not only were the bands playing live sets on stage at Local's Only, but there were also all… Continue

Band of the Month - The Bears of Blue River

When Gavin Wilkenson put together Bears of Blue River (BOBR) in Muncie, he didn’t want to be tied down to any particular sound. After having played with This Story and a few other bands, he was able to conceptualize how each individual part of the whole affects a song. Bands broke up, and Wilkinson immersed himself in seeking and listening to old one-hit wonders and this… Continue

INDY Indie zine

Yea guys. I have suggested this to many of my friends. They go to a lot of concerts at local venues. I don't get to as many being married with kids. But I love discovering music. So I thought they could do concert reviews with articles and I could do album and band reviews with articles. Nothing has come from it yet.
