MFT Radio Hour idea

so my buddy Simon Hanstad was over last night and he said "you should have a radio station on MFT that plays records all the time", excellent idea of course but where would we find the monkeys to play records 24/7 while we went about our lives?

So we thought, maybe a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly MFT radio hour that works like this. We hang out and play records and stream it live to this site's home page and then people can listen and...

we will also set up a little live chat… Continue

Best Band From Indiana

You might disagree, that's cool, but my vote goes for:

IMPOSSIBLE SHAPES

... by far, theee best, most prolific, exquisite piece of musicianship from Indiana. Mellencamp aint' got nothin on these bitches.

(edit) added to my list is Zero Boys & America Owns the Moon.

Quick Review of the Everthus The Deadbeats show at Spin last night

great turnout, showed up around 9:30 and it was already a great crowd, what you might expect at 11pm. By the time the Deadbeats went on after midnight the house was packed, I'm not sure if it was officially sold out but it was close. They played a great set and the crowd was completely in sync through out the set. It was cool to see the younger and older crowd there, they are obviously starting to draw well outside their friends and Muncie fans.

The other bands were great as well,… Continue

Tonight I'll be sending pictures from the Everthus The Deadbeats show in real time

watch the home page, I tested this functionality earlier. Anyone who has a phone that can send pictures via email can do it. Just go to your settings and see what your email address for sending pictures is then start sending! They will go directly to the site and be added to the front page. Very cool stuff!

Ok, I'm off to the show!

Google Domain Registration

Google has launched several powerful applications on the path to being the dominant player in Web Marketing. Google Checkout, Google Analytics, and AdSense are now considered essential tools for Web Developers everywhere.

800 visitors yesterday on the site, stats from the first week if you are interested

We are off to a nice start with this fledgling week old community. We had a spike of 800 visitors yesterday due in part to someone adding us to their StumbleUpon account and an email we sent out to the MFT list. But in general we are seeing a nice steady increase in traffic. Thanks to all you early adopters for getting this bus rolling! Now let's try to figure out where it needs to go...…
