Cheers to the Fry brothers! I enjoyed the Academy recordings, and I look forward to hearing what the band does next.

It really is funny to think about how completely shocking The Academy were to watch when they first started with the suits and their open-armed embracing of Hall and Oats and Ray Parker Jr. - at the time, it was so confusing. One of the greatest live performances I've ever seen, period, was when they played the Beatles tribute show I helped organize as a benefit for Tom Donahue (R.I.P. brother) a few years back. It was truly weird and completely fucking mesmerizing. Ahead of their time.

Can't wait to see them play again! I've been a big Academy fan back to the Smart Milk days.
