This Saturday, an exhibit I curated in partnership with Traditional Arts Indiana is opening in Nashville, Indiana. It is about the Richmond, Indiana home recording group that called itself Rowntree Records. These mostly beginner musicians recorded over 200 hours music during the early 2000s. The music was never issued publicly, but served as a source of local pride and group identity for the musicians who made it.
If you can't make the opening, the exhibit will be up through the end of the year.
