Spreading Indiana Music

Ok so am I not allowed to talk about bands who are not from indy? Or is MFT only focus on the bands who play in indy?
Not sure if this is kosher but who has anything to say about MArk Mallman? Saw him at Melody Inn last night and ....hmmmmm......trying to find the right words to describe him without comparing him to Tiny Tim. Just kidding!!
Any fans out there?

oops! I'm thinking of Mark Pallman! silly me!
That's the guy in the picture with the saxophone.
yes, Mark Mallman and he's pretty good. I liked that one record that sounded like David Bowie. I think Heidi Gluck was into him at one point or maybe we just played it a lot when we worked together

Indy's alright...if you like saxophones! Seriously, Mark Mallman is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis. I think that's who she means. And yeah, he's good - he's been around for quite some time and he's connected to some folks I know up there. If there's another Mark Mallman in the Indy scene, well, that's just confusing.

Hey Karen, this is about Indiana, at least for now, but we have bands from all over on this site that have some connection.
Mark is totally from Indiana so I'm not sure where the confusion is.
I'm a big Prizzy Prizzy Please fan. I think I booked them their first Indy show about 3 years ago at the Melody Inn, then had them play the first Broad RIpple Music Fest in 2007 at Alley Cat. It was a killer show, in the alley. Here's a pic
