Got a tape of the single off the vinyl in 1987 as a gift from Snakepit when I recorded an album by them in Eugene, Oregon. That was cool (though the entire archive of vinyl by The Wipers they gave me was even better).

Saw PTV-3 play in Prague a couple of years ago before Lady Jane died.... and guess which CD I picked up at the show, Yukki, exactly the one you recommend. Yeah, it is WAY cool... especially the stories about the ghost of Brian Jones being conjured at a show when they first made up the song Godstar... and how they sought out the only existing recording of the song... an audience tape bootleg... so they could remember what they did and put it down properly in the studio.

Well, I'm putting on Psychic TV's "God Star - Thee Directors Cut" right now in celebration of the musical taste we continue to share across the ocean and across decades..

"where were you when the stars went out...."

If you don't already have GODSTAR-Thee Directors Cut, double cd, you should get it. The music, of course, is great, but the liner notes are also fascinating.
