Musical Family Tree Indiana Music MP3 Archive

Indiana MP3 Archive and Online Community

So I am hearing that this is on FRIDAY, JUNE 20th. I got confused and thought it was on Saturday, but NO. Can someone confirm this for me again?

I am at a music festival in Louisville that weekend and was only planning on visiting B-ton earlier in the week, but HOW CAN I MISS THIS?!?! That's right, I can't. So I'm driving back AGAIN just to be there for one night, blowing off a buncha psychedelic bands at Terrastock, most of which I can totally live without. Just don't talk to me about the Helena Espvall/Masai Batoh set, OK?. I wish this Ruins gig had been on Saturday but there ya go.

My Questions:

1. Where is the show and who else is playing?
3. Who else besides some of the Matthew clan and I are coming from out of town?
2. Do people want to get together for dinner before the show? I plan on getting back into town around 6 PM.
3. Can somebody put my girlfriend and I up for the night? We come prepared with pads and sleeping bags, really we just need a floor or a back yard.

I think I'm gonna try to come down tomorrow for this hoopla. So if anyone sees me wandering around aimlessly looking for people I knew 20 years ago, say hi!

We're officially a hoopla now?

I think we're unofficially a hoopla--the official hoopla hasn't arrived in the mail yet.

Is Burd bringin' the kids? Jena was gonna come with the girls for pizza and to say hi but probably not stay for the show. But if there are no other kids there they would most likely get bored.

There are going to be several kids there. Burd's kids, Kevin and Terri's kids, I think Angie is bringing hers, a few more people. It's kid friendly-- bring 'em. We'll take a group picture!

I now pronounce the end of the event (though perhaps not the thread). I can't comment on very many aspects of the socializing (busy, busy, busy :<). but suffice to say it was FANTASTIC to see so many people from the past. I'd like to think the Walking Ruins provided suitable background noise as we jumped and ran and played and yelled to our hearts content. And I must say the audience imbibed to their hearts content! All in all a ton of fun. Where's the tylenol?

So.... at some point during Friday evening, I got bashed in the side of the face...probably pushing Dave Death around.... No big deal... I totally forgot about it. Saturday, my right cheekbone was a little sore, but whatever. Today...Wednesday... I get up for work and my face had bloomed a medium sized purple bruise. Nice!
It's not fun until someone gets hurt right?!...Holly??!
