Someone dropped me a line asking how to post video, so I thought I'd share my response:

From anywhere on the site, click the "Videos" tab. You'll end up on a page called "Latest Videos."

Look in the upper right, near the highlighted "Videos" tab, and you'll see a link that says "+Add Videos."

Click that link, and you'll go to a page called "Add Videos," with a bunch of options. You can upload directly to the site, or upload to Youtube or Vimeo or whatever and then link in here. I *think* if you post to one of the big video sites first, this site actually makes a copy for itself instead of just crosslinking, but haven't verified that.

I have been posting to YouTube and then importing to here, on the theory that if the video is at YouTube more people have a chance to see it. Others have been posting to Vimeo and then crossposting because Vimeo's video quality is so much better.

Adding photos is a similar process, but if that needs to get spelled out we'll address it separately.

I'm gonna cross post this in the new "Help" section to encourage others to ask stuff.
