Hyrder was formed in the summer of 2008, consisting of Charlie Morgan (lead guitar and vocals), Chad Gavigan (bass and vocals), Eric Thompson (rhythm guitar and vocals), and Nick Neuriter (drums and vocals). Their stylings of "jam" rock are turning heads everywhere they go, from their unique acoustic/electric sounds, to the high intensity spaced out jam's that ensue. Their influences are deeply rooted in the Grateful Dead, Phish, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Allman Brothers, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, as well as more progressive bands, old and new. With the "Neil Peart" like rhythms driving the sound you won't be able to sit for long. They'll be singing and swaying and music playin' when these boys hit the town. Don't miss Indianapolis' premiere up and coming jam band

The Mousetrap, 56th and Keystone. 255-3189

I've had a vinyl influence since I was alive. I am grateful my father had a record player and that he would actually use it. I think there is something unique in a medium that takes so much to slow down and truly appreciate it for what it's worth. W…

I know, I'm on some sort of nostalgia trip these days while running a Web agency. Everything balances out. That's kinda my point. As we go further into the digital realm we have the increased need for a tactile experience.
