Used to play guitar in the Datura Seeds with Jonee Quest, Paul Mahern, Vess Ruhtenberg, Tom Downs. Moved to Atlanta in 1991, formed the Gentle Readers with Susan Fitzsimmons, put out three albums, still play occasionally. The Gentle Readers have an alter ego called The Susi French Connection that plays all 70's music and that band plays regularly.
Ha! I couldn't find any of Paul taking his pants off! Luckily I never had a camera around for that. I sold the blue one quite a while ago, I miss the neck. I have a bunch of Teles and a couple of G&L's. I seem to keep gravitating back to the Teles. Don't worry about the networking - good to see you on this cool site. Hope you are doing well and I'll talk
to you later!
Hi Lee, remember me? Does Brian (from Athens), my old boyfriend still live down there? He was training to be a luthier a long time ago. I might be working down there soon on a contract medical job!
Lee, just want to say hi and I'm posting a bunch of old shots of bands that I photographed way back when. I hope I wasn't
too much of a pain in the ass. Hope you're doing well.
Lee - I'm playing a show at a place called Kavarna in Decatur on Saturday night. If you're around, I'd love to catch up with you. I've left my cell phone number in your private MFT message box.
It IS fast but as you may remember the Hit City 2 track ran slow so when it was played back on an the mastering deck the whole thing got sped up. I still play all speeds, when appropriate I'd like to think. Do you have anything from 'Tranquiliquist' ? I don't.
I run a record label and work for a graphics company printing. Right now I'm out of work because of my back. I've had two back surgeries and I'm scheduled to have a third, this time a spinal fusion. I'm desperately trying not to have the surgery. I'm going to the UCSF pain clinic and doing physical therapy to ward of this surgery.
I moved to SF in 93 and I love it here. I've been doing the label for 11 years and love that as well. Still not playing, but I toy around with the idea from time to time. Probably start up the West Coast Jaundice Babies, if I do anything at all.
Glad to hear from you as well. Let me know if you are ever out this way.
